I hope this note finds you well. Enclosed is the coin I mentioned but first a short explanation is in order. In 1961, for my 10th birthday, my grand father gave me 5 silver dollars, one for me to keep, four to give away. They were to be given to people I admired for either acts of charity or the courage to try to make the world a better place.
This is the last of the 4 coins to be given away.
I was obliged to delay a month after deciding to make sure the choice was not made in haste. It has taken me 50 years to find 4 people I thought worthy.
