Wassup with That?

A curious thing happened two days after I posted the chapter "Stuck in the Middle". An attorney from Gonzales contacted the host for my website and was demanding that my website be shut down immediately.

The majority of the complaints were against a chapter I wrote four years ago, called "Sheriff Couvillon and His Values". There was some crude language in that chapter which apparently offended the attorney's clients who are Mr and Mrs Couvillon, collectively.

You understand, SHERIFF Couvillon was not trying to shut down my site, it was MR and MRS Couvillon who, ultimately, were satisfied after I agreed to remove Mrs Couvillon's full name from every page on my site. Therefore, I have been scrubbing my website to clean up the language and remove her name. Please, if anyone finds that I've missed a place that spells out the name of the detective who is married to the Sheriff please let me know and I will remove it immediately. Like I told Couvillon, this is the first time I've ever edited my chapters after they were published because I wanted to avoid being accused of changing my story. Then I took the opportunity to clarify some facts for the Sheriff.

Sheriff Couvillon and His Values

(publlished June 14th, 2011)

Editors note: This chapter was published 4 days after I called Sheriff Couvillon at his desk and asked him if he had a warrant for my arrest regarding Donnell Dent's lies from ten months earlier. Couvillon told me that, yes, he did have a warrant ~ but that was a lie. The evidence proves that Sheriff Couvillon didn't put out a warrant for my arrest until two days after I published this chapter. All of this is evidence that Sheriff Couvillon has abused the power of his office for the purpose of retaliation while on a personal vendetta. This wasn't the first time he's done that and I bet it won't be the last. All you Good Guys in Vermilion Parish need to watch your backs. Sincerely.

The Story includes the opinions of Dawn Marcelle that are based off her interpretation of proven facts.
